clint black visits epiphone headquarters

blog82

Our friend Clint Black stopped by Epiphone Headquarters in Nashville yesterday. Clint was gracious enough to take the time to sign 24 Epi guitars including DR200CE’s and AJ200′s that will be used for auction items at various Rett Syndrome fundraising events around the country. Clint and his brother Kevin often work in support of this cause, and of course, it’s the charity Clint “played for” on the Celebrity Apprentice.

This deal between Epiphone, the Intl. Rett Syndrome Foundation and the Black brothers was made and supported by our friend Mike Fuller at Fuller’s Vintage Guitars in Houston, TX.

zakk wylde in the house

blog80

Having just completed a string of live shows in support of Black Label Society’s new CD/DVD Skullage, Zakk Wylde dropped by Epiphone headquarters in Nashville on Friday. Pictured here with Gibson President Dave Berryman, the visit was to discuss details of a few collaborative projects that are in the works with Zakk that you will be hearing about very soon!

In the mean time… be sure to check out the Epiphone Zakk Wylde ZV Custom Micro-Site.

something you wont see every day

blog78

Here’s something you won’t see every day… in fact, you’ll probably never see it at all. This is a proto-type Les Paul that we made a few years back and it is the only one in existence. For one reason or another it never made it into the line but it was a pretty cool guitar. The top was a beautiful natural Mahogany and the back featured this full-body mural of Les with his signature. For some reason it made an appearance at Epi headquartes today so I thought I would share.
